Pensioner pushed to ground in robbery in Rotherham
An elderly woman was pushed to the ground by a man who grabbed her bag in Rotherham.
The woman was targeted in Thurcroft yesterday lunchtime.
South Yorkshire Police said the robber asked the OAP for a cigarette first before pushing her over and snatching her bag.
He left the area in a silver - grey Peugeot 206.
The suspect white, slim, 5ft 7ins and spoke with a local accent.
He was wearing a black hooded top and white T-shirt.
