A PENSIONER who grew up drinking goat’s milk has become a poster girl for a dairy.

Peggy Griffin, aged 83, of Rotherham, is appearing on 600,000 milk cartons being distributed nationwide.

When she was growing up a neighbour kept a goat and Peggy had its milk on her cereal. The grandmother-of-six still drinks goat’s milk and attributes her youthful looks and energy to the white stuff.

One of Peggy’s grandchildren, 23-year-old Megan, wrote to At Helen’s Farm, which sells goat’s milk to Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose and Ocado, about her grandmother and the firm is now using her picture on hundreds of thousands of cartons.
