A WOMAN was taken to hospital with two broken wrists after the car in which she was a passenger ran out of control on a bend, smashed into a tree, and flipped onto its roof.

The 37-year-old from Rotherham was in a silver Citroen Xsara which failed to negotiate a bend on Droppingwell Road, Kimberworth.

The injured woman was taken to Rotherham District General Hospital for treatment and later discharged.
