WORK is set to continue on solving a long-running problem in one of Doncaster’s most popular parks.
The Friends of Sandall Park Group are to hold further meetings with Doncaster Council in a bid to tackle drainage problems which have led to boggy and muddy conditions near one of the park’s play areas for a number of years.
A spokesman for the volunteer group, who help care for the park, said: “We have had dozens of meetings and there is a plan. It would have been sorted by now if it was going to be easy.”
