Park animals get festive treat

ANIMALS at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Branton, Doncaster, were treated to festive foods by keepers who cared for them over the Christmas period.

The leopards and tigers were given duck.

The lions which were rescued from a zoo in Romania last year got beef.

The meerkats enjoyed a special grape and mealworm cake.

And it wasn’t such a tall order finding something for the giraffes to enjoy - they were given plenty of fresh bananas to get down their necks.
