youngsters at Sheffield Children’s Hospital were treated to a gleam of pantomime magic from the stars of Cinderella.
Cinderella polished her glass slippers for a visit to cheer sick children at the hospital.
Prince Charming, the ugly sisters and the Fairy Godmother were all on hand to help spread some festive cheer as they visited the wards.
In full panto get-up, the stars from the show at the Lyceum entertained children in the outpatients department and the theatre admissions unit with their jokes and scenes from the show.
Ward manager Jackie Sanderson said: “It was so nice to see the cast of Cinderella visiting the hospital, the costumes were amazing. Visits like this are great for the kids who are waiting to go to theatre, it really takes their mind off things and keeps them entertained. The ugly sisters were hilarious and had everyone laughing!”
The fairytale pantomime is being performed at the Lyceum until January, 6.
