Panto chance for children
THE search is on to find young stars talented enough to perform in the Lyceum Theatre's Christmas panto.
Sheffield Theatres and Evolution Pantomimes are looking for the junior ensemble for this year's production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The chosen ensemble will appear alongside an all star cast including 80's pop icon Toyah Wilcox (pictured) as The Wicked Queen, comedian Toby Foster as Muddles and Damian Williams as Nurse Nellie.
Registrations for the auditions take place at 10.30am on Sunday June 21 in the Lyceum's main entrance.
Show bosses want to hear from children aged eight to 15, no taller than 5ft 4in and ideally from Yorkshire. They should wear comfortable clothes and soft shoes to the audition and must be committed to the show and rehearsals from November 24 to January 10.
Sheffield Theatres executive producer Mark Feakins said: "After the phenomenal success of last year's panto and the fantastic work of the junior ensemble we are again on the look out for equally brilliant, local talent.
"This is an amazing opportunity for those wanting professional stage experience in one of the country's most exciting theatre complexes."
