THREE pals rode from Chesterfield to Leeds on a charity ride for Sport Relief.
Brian Wass, Jamie Robinson and Daniel Lees pedalled from the B2Net Stadium in their home town to Elland Road stadium in Leeds.
They saddled up on Saturday to raise cash for Sport Relief – and have collected around £450 in total so far.
Brian, 24, said: “When we saw the Sport Relief mile being advertised I thought I could do a little bit better.
“Elland Road was the only place to ride to really as I am a Leeds fan.”
The boys covered around 60 miles on their trip – but were aching too much to get home under their own steam. Brian added: “It was quite hilly and tough in parts.
“We got the van back, I don’t think I would have made it on the bike!
“My thighs ache now but apart from that I think we’re alright.
“Together we are hoping to raise between £450 to £550 for Sport Relief which is great.”
