Pair hurt in South Yorkshire road smash

A DRIVER and her passenger were hurt in a car crash on a South Yorkshire road.

It happened on the A628 at Flouch, when a black Vauxhall Corsa braked to avoid two stationary vehicles ahead.

The 24-year-old woman’s car skidded into the opposite carriageway and hit a black Volvo XC90 heading towards Manchester, which then collided with a black Kia C’eed.

The woman suffered minor injuries, but her male passenger was more seriously hurt. Both were taken to hospital.
