Painting the town yellow

Have your say

YOUNGSTERS from Edenthorpe Juniors football club are hoping to raise £5,000 to help buy equipment for their seven teams.

They held a fundraiser at their pitches, which included activities, including a barbecue, bouncy castles, raffle and cake sale.

They were helped with a paint donation from the Dulux Decorator Centre, on Wheatley Hall Road, which was used to create a wooden football-themed game.

Visitors could pay to try to kick a football through three holes, in return for a prize of a football. The colourful game was decorated using the donated paint, in the team’s colours of bright yellow and blue. The paint came from Dulux’s Colouring the Community scheme.
