Sheffield MP and Owls fan David Blunkett had a ball at the home of Sheffield Wednesday’s community programme.
The politician, who represents Hillsborough and Brightside, was invited to meet and greet young people from the area who are taking part in the National Citizen Service at the home of the Owls.
Young people from across the city enjoyed a superb summer dedicating four weeks to helping make a difference to people in the local community while developing life skills.
Mr Blunkett, along wth fellow Labour MP and Owls fan Clive Betts, spoke with the young people undertaking National Citizen Service as they planned their social action projects.
He also met Owls star and ambassador Michail Antonio.
Mr Blunkett said: “This recognises the real contribution that young people can make to the wellbeing of those around them.”
