Sheffield Wednesday is backing Tickets For Troops during the 2013/14 Championship campaign.
The military charity, which provides free tickets for sporting, musical and theatrical events to members of the Armed Forces, has enjoyed a long standing partnership with both the Owls and the Football League since the scheme was established in 2009.
More than 85,000 football tickets have been donated to the charity since 2009 and last season saw in excess of 35,000 distributed to servicemen and women.
Currently 19,000 tickets have been donated by clubs for the current season.
Sheffield Wednesday ticket office manager Alastair Wilson said: “We are delighted to once again give backing to the Tickets For Troops scheme and welcome servicemen and women to Hillsborough.
“Members of the armed forces risk their lives every day and this initiative is a wonderful way of showing respect for their continued service.”
