You told us what you wanted and we listened. You said you wanted your say on the issues that affect your lives.
You said you wanted those in power in the city to hear your voice.
Today the Star introduces ‘Your Say’ and begins a new era of interactivity with our readers.
Your Say is to be a fully interactive space where you, our readers, will have a real voice.
Moving from one page a day to two, the ‘Your Say’ pages will move forward in the paper where your views will be given more prominence.
We will have more space for your pictures and your opinions and we will offer space to a different columnist every day – some celebrities, some politicians, but mostly you, the ordinary people of Sheffield.
The Your say pages are there for you to let us know how you feel about issues great and small in our city.
Tell us what you like and don’t like about Sheffield and South Yorkshire so we can work together to let those in power know we want to make this a better place to work and live.
The Star is the paper that represents the people of the city and we share your hopes and needs.
Now get in touch and tell us what you think about the place you live and the issues that families face every day.
