A BAR in Sheffield city centre has been told it cannot reopen until January 10 after a spate of violent incidents.
The Redstone on West Street must then comply with stricter conditions.
Sheffield Council’s Licensing Committee has removed the designated premises supervisor from the licence.
The council says there must now be staff training, door supervisors, a Challenge 25 scheme, no under-18s at any time and no entry after 1am.
Opening hours have been reduced from 2am from Sunday to Wednesday and 3am from Thursday to Saturday.
The bar was shut under an interim order. Police said there had been a catalogue of incidents at the bar including a man suffering suspected knife wounds.
