HERITAGE bus rides are being laid on at South Yorkshire Transport Museum’s latest event day.

Visitors to the museum at Aldwarke, Rotherham, can also see historic vehicles including Rotherham’s first two motor buses.

The event is on Sunday, between 10.30am and 4.30pm.

A spokesman said: “The museum has something for everyone, from heritage bus rides, to new additions including a former Volvo B10M driver training vehicle. We now also have a larger display area.”

Entry is £3.50 for adults, £2 for concessions and £8 for a family of up to two adults and three children. People bringing a pre-1973 classic vehicle have free admission.

There will be a vintage bus providing a shuttle service from Rotherham town centre.
