Studio shooting for the new series of Open All Hours is due to get under way this week.

Interior scenes for the six-part series, entitled Still Open All Hours, will be shot in front of a live audience at studios in Teddington, Middlesex, from Friday.

The shoots will take place every Friday night over the next six weeks and come after two weeks of exterior filming in Balby, Doncaster, last month when Beautique hairdressing salon on the corner of Lister Avenue and Scarth Avenue was transformed into Arkwright’s cluttered emporium once again.

The show, to be aired later this year, features Granville, played by David Jason, running the shop after inheriting it from Arkwright, played in the original by Ronnie Barker.
