A CONFERENCE to tackle the growing issues related to cyber-bullying in the workplace has taken place in Doncaster.

The phenomenon usually associated with the playground is on the increase at work and a group of local business women warn that business owners must understand the far reaching effects of cyber-bullying.

Women’s Club, a business networking group that operates across South Yorkshire, hosted the conference and founder Jane Swain, said: “Cyber-bullying is growing increasingly common at work and can have a direct impact on an organisation’s bottom line and devastate the life of the victim.”

members of Tickhill and District Footpath Group head to Bawtry Forest tomorrow for a walk led by Brian Stevens from the top of Martin Lane, before holding their annual quiz and buffet at Tickhill Cricket Club on Monday night.

Forum AGM

the annual general meeting of the Bessacarr and Cantley Community Forum takes place on Wednesday at Willow Primary School on Alston Road from 7pm. There are vacant positions on the committee.
