FUNDRAISING golfers got into the swing of raising cash - by playing 100 holes in a day.

Ed Norris and Garry Curtis completed the task as part of the Master Cutler’s Challenge 2012 to boost Cavendish Cancer Care.

Firms, schools and colleges took part in the challenge which asks teams to maximise an initial £50 investment.

Ed and Garry, who work at city commercial property agents Lambert Smith Hampton, weren’t allowed buggies or caddies during their day out at Stocksbridge Golf Club.

They finished in 20 hours and have raised over £1,000 for the centre.

Jonny Cole, fundraiser at Cavendish Cancer Care, said: “This shows how people have gone the extra mile during this year’s challenge.”
