two of the three vacancies on Tickhill Town Council are still unfilled following resignations earlier this year.
One was filled by resident David Adgar who successfully applied to sit on the council.
Mr Adgar is a retired schoolteacher who is now employed as a community officer for a national charity working with local people to develop churches as community resources.
Members of the Tickhill public who would like to put themselves forward as councillors can contact temporary clerk Alan Jillott on 01909 591 706.
Mayor Raymond Hill has paid tribute at the annual meeting of electors to Couns Ellis Baldwin, Bill Higgins and Alison Spencer who have all decided to stand down after many years’ combined service to the town.
