Doncaster pop sensation Louis Tomlinson has cued up to meet another star heading in One Direction - snooker world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan.
The Bessacarr-based boy band sensation and the snooker supremo rubbed shoulders at the World Snooker Championships at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre at the weekend as five times world champion O’Sullivan began the defence of his title with a first round victory over Robin Hull.
Louis was at the city’s annual sporting extravaganza in his role as patron for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, the official charity of World Snooker and posed for photos with the famous trophy.
The game’s governing body has already raised more than £100,000 for the charity and last year, a host of the sport’s biggest names gathered at the Dome for the Bluebell Wood Open competition.
Fellow snooker star Steve Davis also boosted coffers by auctioning off his jungle clothes from his appearance on I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!
