A Sheffield woman who shelved a book she wrote 20 years ago has landed a book deal with an independent publisher after dusting it off and resubmitting it.

Anita Waller, aged 70, re-typed up the book, which had previously been printed only typewriter, and sent it to Bloodhound Books.

The online publisher has now made the novel available as an e-book and as a paperback on Amazon.

The psychological mystery, called Beautiful, is set in Cornwall over a period of 40 years and tells the horrific tale of a six year old girl who is sexually abused.
