Off-road bike seizure plan
POLICE in Ecclesfield are urging people to think twice about buying off-road motorbikes - because they could be confiscated.
Officers are cracking down on the problem after residents raised it as an issue of concern during Partners and Communities Together meetings last year.
Patrols will be carried out over the half-term holidays, during which bikes could be seized.
It is illegal to ride motorbikes on any land without the owner's permission.
Bikes must be taxed and insured.
