A ROTHERHAM bingo game turned into a surprising bust-up when an elderly player shouted ‘house’ too early.
Police were called to attend the row in a community room at sheltered housing in Greaseborough, Rotherham, when two rival players, aged in their sixties, clashed.
A housing official had called officers when the spat got out of hand.
Police attended, but found the scene ‘all quiet’ on arrival.
They spoke to both parties and gave them advice.
One of the players, a woman, was also handed a tenancy warning about her future conduct by Rotherham Council.
