Four years ago, the doctors, nurses and support staff at Northern General Hospital’s intensive care unit literally saved my life as I spent four weeks there.
How can anyone adequately express thanks and praise for that?
On June 18, my wife and I spent almost six hours in the Northern General A&E unit for my scan and subsequent diagnosis and treatment.
Without exception, from the excellent Professor Goodacre to everyone else involved, I received professional and caring treatment, with a wonderful source of humour.
The NHS attracts criticism from time to time, but in my two experiences, I have nothing but the highest praise for everyone who looked after me.
A warm and sincere thank you to each and everyone of you, nothing was too much trouble.
