Sheffield green travel campaign #Notdriving has teamed up with dozens of local businesses for a great Christmas giveaway.
The campaign – which gives away prizes to motorists who have given up driving their cars to work – has a sack full of gifts worth hundreds of pounds.
For 12 days until Christmas it will give away presents through daily prize draws to relieve the stresses of manic shopping sprees and tightened purse strings.
Prizes include Sheffield Wednesday match tickets, £100 worth of Drop Dead clothing, gig tickets to see the Happy Mondays and Rizzle Kicks at the O2 Academy and five crates of beer.
There is also a cycle helmet, travel passes, The X Factor Live Tour tickets, Marshall Mini Amp Speakers, a digital touch screen Mutewatch, Beacons Festival tickets and £200 of Meadowhall vouchers.
To enter the competition a driver needs to ditch the car and travel by any other means.
On the homepage at www.notdriving.co.uk they then enter the number of miles not driven.
The campaign is also staging a festive pub crawl in association with Thornbridge Brewery as part of its anti-drink driving campaign.
