INSPIRATIONAL youngsters who have triumphed over adversity can be honoured with the return of the Star Superkids awards.
Our annual ceremony recognises the incredible achievements of young people across South Yorkshire.
Six-year-old Max Davies, from Beighton, is the first child to be put forward for Superkids for his courage.
But youngsters can be hailed in a variety of categories.
Superkids recognises tots who have beaten the odds, shown bravery and made educational progress at school.
We also shine a light on green youngsters who are making efforts to help the environment. Those who achieve sporting greatness can be praised, as well as those who support their family, such as by caring for a relative or providing a shoulder to cry on.
One category which is also popular is the special award – which honours those who deserve a big thank you for their courage and achievements.
Young citizens of the year, who help out their community by volunteering or fundraising, are welcome. The final category is for children who shine in music and performing arts, whether at school or outside the classroom in their own time.
To nominate somebody for Superkids email email@example.com and label the subject box STAR Superkids by Friday, April 19.
