No-one should have to suffer in silence

Have your say

I shall be buying Karen Littlewood’s book, she is very brave baring all like this.

When you have a mental health issue people give you a wide berth as some people dont know how to handle it. It’s not their fault, but I think we can all be guilty of this.

When I had my son eight years ago I suffered from shocking post-natal depression and to me who had never had any thing like this before it was so frightening.

I felt like I had been taken over by someone I didn’t know.

It was a very scary and upsetting time. I got better, but not overnight, it took about four years before I felt that I was heading in the right direction.

I would say, if you know someone who’s having these issues, a few words of encouragement can make a lot of difference.

No-one should suffer in silence.
