Nine fire engines called to three different house fires in Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster

A total of nine fire engines have been called out to three different house fires in Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster this evening.

South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service had a busy night, starting with a house fire at a home in Chapelwood Road, Darnall, at 8.01pm.

Three fire engines were called to that blaze, but noone is thought to be seriously hurt.

Another three fire engines were then called to a fire in Ferham Road, Rotherham, at 8.41pm.

The severity of the incident is not known, but noone was injured.

In Doncaster, another three fire engines were sent to Linden Grove, Edlington, at 8.04pm. Again, noone was thought to be seriously injured.

A spokesman for the service also said there have been several small fires on open ground throughout the evening.
