News In Brief: Wedding fair's stylish setting
BRIDES-to-be are invited to a wedding fair at a Derbyshire country estate.
Visitors will be serenaded by Elizabethan style minstrel Dante Ferrera, treated to a free glass of wine and be able to meet local wedding suppliers at the event at Hardwick Hall on Saturday September 4, from 5pm until 8pm.

charity Cancer Research UK is looking for volunteers in Sheffield to organise and run fundraising events. Dogs have day
PET lovers are invited to a dog show at Thornbury Animal Sanctuary in North Anston on Sunday September 5 from noon. Entries 1 each with classes including best six legs - dog and owner - and best fancy dress. Pawfect Pics will take photos and Boney Fido dog training will be demonstrating doggy dancing and agility tricks.

KIDS from three lucky Chesterfield football clubs have new kit supplied by car dealers Triangle of Chesterfield.The Chesterfield Town FC Boys Under 10s, Brampton Rovers Mixed Under 8s and Boys Under 13s will all get kit in their team colours with the Kia logo.
Stepping out
DANCERS from Chesterfield will be taking over the town's arena to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the Day of Dance. Belly-dance, Irish dance, break dance and many other styles will be showcased on Saturday September 11, 10.30am-3.30pm at the New Square Arena. The audience can join in.
