News In Brief: Indian cooking to spice up the menu

A SIX week course which will teach food lovers Indian cooking is being launched in Barnsley.

The course takes place at Kendray Resource Centre every Tuesday from 10am until noon and 1pm until 3pm, starting on April 16. It will also run at Royston Lifelong Learning Centre every Friday from 10am until noon and 1pm until 3pm, starting on April 19.

Probus club lunch

DRONFIELD Probus Club hosts a President’s lunch on Wednesday at Lees Hall Golf Club in Hemsworth Road Norton from 12.30 for a 1pm start.

Members will also meet at the Contact Club in Snape Hill Lane, Dronfield, at 9.45am on Wednesday, April 17.

Fashion show fun

A CHARITY fashion show takes place at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Chesterfield Road, Sheffield, on Tuesday, April 16, at 6.30pm, proceeds to epilepsy charity Fable.
