SHEFFIELD homelessness charity Emmaus is encouraging people to donate unwanted Christmas presents to its shop on Cadman Street in Attercliffe.

University of Sheffield students are being urged to get involved, by donating unwanted bedding, kitchen items and furniture from their shared houses and halls to city homelessness charity St Vincent’s Furniture Store, to help homeless people settle into new accommodation.

Marines fitness test

HARDCORE fitness enthusiasts can ‘beat the marine’ in a tough Peak District event. A challenging assault course and 8km cross-country race devised by former Royal Marines will get hearts pumping on Saturday, March 31.
