Arsonists blamed for garage blaze

POLICE are investigating a fire started deliberately at a garage in Sheffield.

The garage, next to a house in Greenhill Avenue, Greenhill was reported on fire at 2am on Wednesday morning.

Fire crews from Low Edges were quickly on the scene but by the time they arrived the garage was well alight.

The garage and a motorbike inside it were completely ruined.

Car fire spreads

A VAUXHALL Corsa car was written off after being deliberately set on fire in Dundass Road, Tinsley at around 2am on Wednesday morning.

Fire crews from Darnall arrived to find the fire had began to spread to a LDV Van which was parked nearby.

Bikers get marked

More than 150 motorbike riders pulled into a Chesterfield supermarket to have their bikes security marked,

Officers from the Dunston, Moor and St Helens policing team held the ‘Ride Secure’ event at the Tesco store on Lockoford Lane.
