Men robbed in two separate attacks

A MAN was held up at knifepoint by a robber on Cherry Tree Road, Sharrow, Sheffield, at 11pm on Saturday. The 27-year-old had his mobile phone stolen.

In Chesterfield a man was punched in the face as he walked down a town centre footpath with a friend. The pair were approached by two tall, slim, black hooded thugs at 1.15pm on Monday, near Chester Street and Saltergate.

School building fire

A DERELICT building in the grounds of Woolley Wood School, Sycamore House Road, Shiregreen, Sheffield, was set alight by arsonists at 6.30pm on Friday.

Firework in toilet

FIREFIGHTERS were called to McDonalds on Penistone Road, Owlerton, Sheffield, after a firework was set off in a toilet at 12.50pm yesterday.

Car set alight

A FORD Mondeo burning on Brailsford Avenue, Ecclesfield, had been set alight deliberately at 4.10pm on Friday.
