TV show help for bereaved family

Work and filming on a house in Fox Covert Lane, Misterton, being carried out by the BBC series DIY SOS, is due for completion on Thursday. The experts and local volunteer tradesmen are building an extension for the family of Roxanne Makings, who died last year aged 27.

Choir practice

Tickhill residents who would like to join the choir performing Stainer’s Crucifixion at St Mary’s Church on Good Friday can take part in practices with John Marsden. The next one is on Friday at 7pm at the Sunderland Street Evangelical Church.
