Inquest verdict on warfarin drug user
A DONCASTER inquest has recorded a narrative verdict on a widow who died in the Royal Infirmary last autumn.
Coroner Nicola Mundy said Joan Vaughan died at Doncaster Royal Infirmary on October 9 from complications which arose from the effects of long-term use of warfarin, the blood thinning agent. Mrs Vaughan, aged 73, lived on Newstead Road, Scawthorpe.
