New computer courses in Bentley

North Doncaster Development Trust is now a recognised UK Online Centre providing free basic computer courses at the Bentley Resource Centre. The courses can be accessed by anyone in Doncaster, whether a complete beginner or someone with some experience who wants to learn more.

NDDT’s staff will guide participants through first steps online. The flexible modules allow learners to progress at their own pace and, once registered with NDDT, participants can access training modules via the internet at home or at their nearest internet connection.

Coffee at vicarage

A NEW coffee morning has started at Bawtry Vicarage in Martin Lane on the second Wednesday of each month at 9.15am.

The vicar’s wife, Jackie Strickland, is organising the get-togethers to provide an opportunity to meet old and new friends and take part in prayers.

Beetle fans

organisers of the Doncaster Classic Volkswagen Festival, due to take place at Hatfield Water Park from April 12 to 14, have asked Hatfield Town Council if they can also hire part of Jubilee Park for a trade parts sale and vehicle competitions.

Lunch concert

pupils of Hall Cross School will be performing for members of Doncaster Arts and Museum Society at the Lunch-Hour Concert in the Chequer Road gallery on Wednesday at 1pm. Admission is £4.
