MP Dan hits out at welfare policies

BARNSLEy Central MP Dan Jarvis has slammed the Government for ‘attacking the low paid’. “There are many people in Barnsley who have a job and are working hard but rely on tax credits to help make ends meet,” he said.

The MP was speaking in response to the Government describing their welfare policies as targeting the work-shy and benefit ‘scroungers’.
