Jobs boost with graduate scheme

SOUTH YORKSHIRE is set for a jobs boost after Next announced a graduate jobs scheme at its distribution arm in Doncaster.

The graduates will be employed by Next Distribution, at its Redhouse site and will spend 12 months launching their careers in logistics.

Invest In Doncaster has secured funding for the programme and will assist Next with recruitment, training and supporting the graduates.

The programme will start in April 2013, with recruitment starting this month.

TWO Barnsley football players helped launch a school’s new multi-use games area.

Scott Wiseman and Scott Golbourne opened the all-weather facility at Holy Rood Catholic Primary School, Shaw Street, Barnsley.
