Cathedral service to mark Christmas

SHEFFIELD’S Westbourne School celebrates Christmas with a cathedral service on Tuesday, December 11.

The Broomhill school will hold its annual carol service at Sheffield Cathedral at 7pm.

Michael Woodward, from the school, said: “It is always popular with families and friends of Westbourne.

“There’s a warm welcome for everybody who wants to join us at this celebration.”

Community carols

SINGING group Glee Bah Gum are joining residents for Christmas carols in Chaucer Square, Parson Cross Sheffield, on Thursday, December 13, from 5.30pm to 7pm.

There will be a display of lanterns and a collection for charity Safe at Last, which helps young runaways.

Festive favourites

Retford Male Voice Choir will sing Christmas favourites at Clumber Chapel, Clumber Park on Sunday at 2pm.
