A new dedicated yoga and pilates studio in Doncaster is set to open.
Tall Trees Yoga & Pilates studio is holding an open day on Saturday July 26 where you can try free classes, meet the six teachers, enjoy vegetarian refreshments, and look around the two beautifully renovated practice rooms.
Tall Trees, based at Woodfield Park, Tickhill Road, Balby is open to everyone of all ages and abilities - experience and flexibility are not required.
“The studio is a much-needed antidote to the hectic lives we all live today. Tall Trees is a place for people to find a moment for themselves as soon as they step through the doors,” says yoga teacher, Rebecca Leam.
“Yoga and Pilates have proven benefits for everyone of all ages and lifestyles – from teenagers experiencing exam stress, to office workers who are hunched over their desks all day, to people with chronic illness. It’s all about taking a moment to connect with the mind, body and spirit and listen to what the self needs.”
The styles of yoga and Pilates offered at the Studio include Hatha, Sivananda, Vinyassa flow, Dru, core, pranayama (breath technique) and meditation.
There are also classes specifically tailored for seniors, beginners, pre-natal, and athletes to help develop strength, flexibility and balance of both the body and the mind.
Classes are available Monday to Friday from 6.45am to 8:30pm and on Saturday and Sunday mornings. There are also weekend workshops and corporate stress-relief days held throughout the year.
A range of membership options is available, from pay-as-you-go to pre-paid minutes that can be used for any class during a three month period, to full annual membership for those looking to take several classes each week. Leading up to the opening day, you can take advantage of the early-bird annual membership special offer.
