A CENTRE which helps street drinkers in Sheffield has appointed two new trustees.
Ben’s Centre for Vulnerable People has been established in the city for more than 15 years.
Sheffield city councillor Ben Curran and Stephen Givnan, a former professional actor who now runs a charity for those affected by drugs, alcohol, crime and homelessness, have been appointed to the board of trustrees.
Josephine Maltby, chair of the board of trustees, said: “I am delighted to welcome Ben and Stephen to our board.
“They are both very committed to working with vulnerable people and will use their vast knowledge and skills to help strengthen our team. I know they will ensure Ben’s Centre continues to make a significant contribution to vulnerable people.”
