ROTHERHAM United has announced a new sponsorship deal with a community initiative in the town.
Footballers from the club will wear away shirts sponsored by the Rotherham Partnership, which will see its slogan ‘One Town, One Community’ used as the main logo.
The initiative aims to brings together public, private, voluntary and community sector organisations to work together “to improve Rotherham”.
Coun Mahroof Hussain, Rotherham Council’s spokesman for community development, said: “The club does so much good work in the local area and by extending our support they will be able to further enhance their activities in the borough.”
Partnership chairman Brian Chapple added: “This is a very positive move.”
