A charity has opened its first shop in Sheffield city centre.

St Luke’s Hospice already has 11 shops which raise vital funds for the charity, based in Whirlow – but had none in the city centre until now.

The new shop was officially opened on Pinstone Street by volunteer Howard Barron. Also present at the opening were charity officials, shop staff and volunteers and the hospice’s mascot, Dignity Dog.
