Youth charity The Prince’s Trust is searching for Rotherham school leavers to take part in a new course to be run this summer.
National Citizen Service - NCS - is a new free scheme for Year 11 leavers to learn new skills, challenge themselves and make a positive impact in their community during the holidays.
Young people will design a project to benefit their local area as well as going on two team-building residential weeks, taking part in outdoor challenges and group activities.
NCS will be run with The Prince’s Trust and Rotherham College for Arts and Technology starting on July 4. Places are limited so interested young people should apply as soon as possible. The trust is also appealing for volunteers to help run the scheme.
