A pub about to close temporarily, then re-launch after a major refurbishment, will create 16 new vacancies.
The Green Tree Inn on the outskirts of Hatfield, en route to Sandtoft and Thorne, will close on June 10 for two weeks to allow changes which will bring a pizza oven, a salad cart, and completely new décor throughout with a fresh, inviting menu.
The venue, set to unveil its new look on June 24, will employ new staff across the kitchen and front of house areas to offer better service to regulars and new visitors alike.
Kate Everatt, general manager of The Green Tree Inn, said: “The entire team is excited about the refurbishment and we can’t wait to have the grand unveiling at the end of June.”
She continued: “The new pizza oven will allow us to offer homemade delights to eat in or take out, tasty burgers, a fresh salad bar alongside a menu of pub classics, and new additions for guests to get their teeth stuck into.”
The new look will also mark the start of the pub’s charity campaign, to raise £8,000 across several fundraising events for Cancer Research and two local causes.
