new homes on a former South Yorkshire bus depot site are going on sale.
The development of 59 properties by Taylor Wimpey, at a site on Upper Sheffield Road, Barnsley, has been named The Crossing and features a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes, in townhouse and detached styles.
Anne Bagshaw, Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire regional sales and marketing manager, said: “The development offers a range of high-quality detatched properties for homebuyers to choose from.
“We also have a number of innovative schemes to aid homebuyers. As well as producing quality homes, we aim to make things easier for the buyer, to alleviate the pressures which inevitably occur during the process.”
Taylor Wimpey’s government-backed NewBuy Scheme offers 95 per cent mortgages, meaning only a 5 per cent deposit is required to buy a new home.
The development was granted planning permission in 2010 by Barnsley Council.
