ELDERLY people will benefit from a new £1.7 million housing scheme which has been unveiled in a South Yorkshire village.
Willow Chase has been developed by Sanctuary Group in North Anston, includes 16 two-bedroom apartments for older people aged over 55.
To mark the completion of the Government-funded project, an official opening was held. Special guest was Mayor of Rotherham, Coun Shaun Wright, who marked the occasion by unveiling a commemorative plaque.
Willow Chase incorporates energy efficient features including solar panels and gas condensing boilers. Additional features include a cycle and buggy store, landscaped communal garden area and secure door entry system.
The development has also received a security award.
