Foster parents are being offered a helping hand with a new support and training service in Doncaster.
Fostering Solutions is set to open its doors in Doncaster this month in a bid to reach out to residents offering support and training for foster carers.
The nationwide agency, the headquarters of which are based in Bolton, Greater Manchester, have established a series of ‘drop-in’ style offices around the UK.
The new service will also offer advice for people interested in becoming foster carers, as well as supporting carers who are already in the area.
Commenting on the launch of the Doncaster office Joanna Matley, operations manager, said: “We are delighted to be opening our doors in Doncaster to show our support to the local community.
“We feel the drop-in-style office will make it easier for people to take that first step and also allow us to offer on-going support locally.
The office will open officially on Tuesday, October 22 at the office in 21 Hallgate, Doncaster.
