The Fit for the Future project is funded by the Big Lottery and co-ordinated by Age UK Rotherham.
It will offer people aged over 55 the chance to take part in activities such as arts and crafts, quizzes and exercise in sessions run by the community for the community.
Events will be on Friday, December 13, from 1pm to 3pm at Wales and Kiveton Village Hall; Monday, December, 16, from 1pm to 3pm at My Place, Rotherham; Wednesday, December 18, from 10am to noon at Edward Dunn Building, Maltby; Thursday, December 19, from 1pm to 3pm at Swinton Civic Hall, Swinton.
