New family role for city lawyer

The head of a Sheffield law firm has been appointed Chair of South Yorkshire Resolution, an association of family lawyers.

Vanessa Fox, who is currently head at hlw Keeble Hawson, based on St James’ Row in Sheffield city centre, and who has 25 years of experience of practising family law, will take on the new role at Resolution.

Her role will involve keeping members of Resolution up to date with developments in family law.

Ms Fox said: “I am looking forward to playing a key role in the organisation and encouraging more practitioners to get involved at a time when family law is going through significant change.”

Resolution has 6,500 members nationally and runs an accreditation scheme for specialist family lawyers.
